Sophy Roberts sets sail to Dhow House on Lamu Island, part of an archipelagos of the coast of Kenya.

Dhow House, which is a seven-bedroom private house, with the generous capacity to host 14, was commissioned by Katy Barker and designed by the French architect, Laurant Buttazoni in a local Lamu-Swahili style. Sophy’s piece talks of everything that makes this a first-class private luxury getaway, from the large pool in the lush three-acre garden, to its location on an island that restores the mind and soul.

If you’re interested in a luxury private holiday to Lamu and in particular, Dhow house then please do get in touch with us and one of our destination specialists would be happy to start the conversation.
