Home to the Eniskellen family, set in Lake Naivasha’s wetlands, a part of the highly thought of Ramsar Site, and consisting in itself of 1,200 acres, Mundui House is a 1932 hunting lodge with a reputation for providing its guests with both a tranquil and highly enjoyable stay.
Overview
Guests stay in the lodge’s cottage, which is booked on an exclusive basis. Consisting of a lounge, a library, a pool, two bedrooms and two bathrooms, Mundui House can comfortably accommodate two couples or a family.
Food & service
The food – home-grown, fresh, homemade – is gorgeous, the service excellent, and the grounds, which are green, large and lead right up to the lake, are perfect for walks, lazing about and meals outdoors.
Rooms
Very upcountry in style – mounted heads, wooden floors, old and mixed furniture, log fires – the rooms have a beautiful feel to them.
Activities
Activities at Mundui House include night and day drives, guided walks, bird viewing, boat trips and visits to Lake Nakuru and Hells Gate.
