Private wet and dry safari in Moremi National Park
Combining the luxuries of old world travel with today’s technological capabilities, travelling by mobile safari through the northern-eastern reaches of the Okavango Delta will see you experience the wilds of Moremi – on foot, by boat, from the comfort of specially adapted vehicles, or while sipping sundowners in the most beautiful of settings.
Guided by specially trained biology or zoologist guides, your mobile safari will include: game drives across the dry floodplains, in search of zebra, wild dog and cheetah; viewing hippo, crocodile and a range of aquatic and bird life; boating the deltas channels; understanding the significance of hippo and elephant to the delta habitat; and enjoying your island bases, the surprisingly luxurious benefits of the very well run mobile safari – three course meals, cold drinks and extremely comfortable tents.
Depending on the length of your safari, camp will be set and struck several times.
Costs for a two week private mobile safari through Botswana, privately guided by Roger Dugmore, costs start from US$16,000/ £10,500 per person
