Overview

The look and feel of Eulophiella Hotel Lodge is simple and spacious. Made up of 17 bungalows, a garden and a restaurant with a cosy fire and terrace with panoramic views, the hotel is surrounded by the wilds of Madagascar.

Food & service

The nature of feedback with regards to food and service at Eulopellia Lodge depends very much on the level of one’s expectations, with many happy to forgo five star food and attentive service for the wild setting. Breakfast offers freshly made bread, juice, coffee and eggs. Lunch can be eaten in the restaurant or packed lunches can be provided and winner, which can be cooked at an extra expense and eaten inside the comfortable restaurant or on the terrace, has had mixed reviews from guests. Please note that Wi-Fi and a laundry service are not provided.

Eulophiella East Madagascar

Rooms

There are 17 bungalows at Eulophiella Hotel Lodge with en suite bathrooms. 10 standard all made from local wood and designed in a rustic style typical of Madagascar east coast – they are simple and comfortable. The seven luxury bungalows are built with brick and wood, contain a king-size bed and living room and lead out onto a large verandah. Please note that electricity turns off at 10 pm.

Activities

Activities at Eulophiela largely revolve around trips into the national park with two main circuits that cater for all levels of fitness and takes guests on a journey to engage with local culture, spotting rare birds endemic to the area and lemurs and ending with a dip in the paradisiacal pools formed by the river network and waterfalls in the area.

Many of the vegetables are locally grown in the garden, which cuts down on carbon emissions.
