Overview
Constructed on wooden decking and under thatched roofs, the six spacious, thatched chalets of chalets of Khwai Bush Camp offer views across the lagoon and easy access to the Moremi Game Reserve. There are two standard and two family chalets with walkways linking the chalets together, as well as a spacious dining area, communal lounge and reception. Solar power provides electricity throughout. There is no Wi-Fi.
Rooms
Each large chalet at Khwai Bush Camp comes with a private balcony that offers views over the lagoon and surrounding area. All rooms have a four-poster bed with netting, elegant furniture in neutral colours and wooden floors with rugs underfoot. The two family chalets have inter-connecting walkways between rooms for parents and children. Solar-powered running water ensures all chalets have hot showers and flushing toilets in their en suite bathroom.
Food & services
Seasonal specialities and regional dishes are on the menu at Khwai Bush Camp, with fresh, local meat and vegetables a priority for the chefs. Meals are served in the dining area, with wide views over the delta. There is also a bar set up in the dining area, or drinks can be taken on the private balconies.
Activities
The area offers a chance to meet local wildlife across the year, with day and night drives to see lions, leopards, elephants, hippos and more. Khwai Bush Camp also provides walking safaris along the banks of the Khwai River and inside the reserve.
